1. Clara OS was born in a kitchen
Clara OS wasn't dreamed up in an open space. It was born behind a stove, in a Brussels pastry lab — exactly where HACCP records are filled in by hand between two services, where production sheets go missing, and where stock is counted from memory.
The starting point was simple: a chef spends hours every week on paperwork that doesn't move a single dessert forward. Existing software meant learning a new tool, training the team, keying in spreadsheets. Nobody has time for that.
Hence Clara's stance: no spreadsheets, no menus to explore. You talk to her. On WhatsApp, on the floor, or hands in the dough through Ray-Ban Meta glasses. Clara understands, acts, and keeps the record.
2. Vincent Denis — CEO & co-founder

Vincent Denis is a pastry chef. His passion started as a child in the Vendée, watching an artisan work sugar; the fundamentals came from his grandmother. He then trained with Pierre Hermé and Christophe Michalak, worked pastry in a Michelin-starred restaurant, then joined Attica in Melbourne — ranked among the World's 50 Best Restaurants — where he was named Pastry Chef of the Year in Australia.
In 2014 he was crowned First Chef of Belgium and represented the Benelux at the World Chocolate Masters. Back in Brussels, he opened the Vincent Denis Dessert Bar, Belgium's first dessert bar: fine pastry plated to order, in front of the guest. His signature — milk chocolate and caramel spheres with a molten centre on a crisp crumble — became the talk of the city.
At Clara OS, Vincent owns the field. His own venue served as the first lab: every module (HACCP, production sheets, stock, planning) answers a problem he lived through in service. He leads the product vision and makes sure Clara stays useful to people who work on their feet.
3. Sébastien Antoine — CTO & co-founder
Sébastien Antoine comes from mobile. An engineering graduate of ESIEE Paris, he spent more than ten years designing and shipping Android and iOS applications, from sensor prototype to large-scale rollout — including assistance devices for people at risk, where the app has to work flawlessly, without a perfect network and without an expert user.
That culture — field, real time, fault tolerance — is the one behind Clara OS. He designs its architecture: a FastAPI and PostgreSQL backend, a team of specialised AI agents orchestrated by Clara, and channels that meet users where they already are — WhatsApp, the web, and Ray-Ban Meta glasses, where Clara answers by voice, hands free, at the workstation.
He also runs infrastructure and data protection: European hosting, per-company data isolation, GDPR compliance. See our privacy policy.
4. Our conviction
In food businesses, a successful management tool is one you never need to open. Three principles follow:
- Conversation before interface. Everything happens by talking to Clara. Creating a spec sheet, receiving a batch, pulling a traceability record: one sentence is enough, on any channel.
- The field decides. Every feature is tested in real service before it ships. If it costs a cook time, it doesn't go out.
- Your data stays yours. Hosted in Europe, partitioned per company, never resold.
